Father's Visit

"Why have you traveled so far to see me?" asked the son to his father, when the father showed up unexpected at his doorstep one afternoon.

"I came just like this." answered the father, rapping on the open door next to his son.

His son looked at him, shook his head, and asked, as he moved aside to let his father enter, "What is it you are teaching these days?"

His father stopped halfway into the room, turned around and came over, standing very close to his son. He beckoned to him and said, "Son, please come closer so you can hear me."

His son obeyed and moved as close as he could to his father.

His father said, "Keep what I am saying in front of your thoughts."
